The new line was made available to spas in October photo: Biologique Recherche Skincare brand Biologique Recherche has introduced a new hydration product line, which was made available to spas in October.
Masque Visolastine+ has been designed to boost hydration in the upper layers of the epidermis and strengthen the skin barrier to protect against dehydration.
Marketed as a long-lasting moisturiser, Biologique Recherche says the hydration rate of the skin is increased by 16.1 per cent after four hours of a single application – and remains at 11.8 per cent even after eight hours.
In a statement, Biologique Recherche said: “Hydration remains the most important outcome of a facial treatment and water is the human body’s main component.
“Dehydration is caused by two main factors. Firstly, a failure in the hydrolipidic film of the epidermis – altering the skin’s barrier function and leading to excessive water evaporation – and a decrease in the number of natural moisturising factors through age.
“Masque Visolastine+ offers a long-lasting solution for these issues.”
