One 10 has been created by former 400m Olympic athlete Tim Benjamin
Cycling studio One 10 has launched in London’s Marylebone, offering two classes under one roof: Paceline and Nirvana.
One 10, which is named after the optimum RPM (revolutions per minute) for indoor cycling, is a 5,000sq ft (465sq m) studio that has been created by Tim Benjamin, former 400m Olympic athlete and founder of gym franchise, The Fitness Space.
Paceline is an intense performance-based workout whereby each rider’s statistics are tracked via a digital system. Statistics are monitored and visually displayed in real-time during the class, and also feed into individual’s profiles available through the One 10 app.
Nirvana is an experience-driven party ride. Playlists are matched with fun, high-energy body movements to create a carnival vibe. This class is less focused on statistics and more on the experience.
Statistics from both classes feed into each rider’s profile and their overall score. Branded clothing will be awarded as riders reach set milestones in their training.
Each class can accommodate 30 people and lasts 45 minutes, with more than 50 sessions on offer every week. Classes cost £20 (US$26.3, €22.4) each or users can buy sessions in blocks of five for £95 (US$124.9, €106.6) or ten for £180 (US$236.6, €201.9).
Benjamin said: “We’re here to break boundaries in studio cycling. With One 10, every rider will have an engaging, multi-platform experience and connect with a like-minded community. It’s a network that tracks, rewards and motivates every rider.”
The studio has partnered with supplier Technogym.
