The AGV Darkride is available with a range of different motion systems, seating capabilities and on-board 4D effects
Simworx, a UK-based developer of dynamic media-based attractions, is set to launch two new products, the AGV Dark Ride and the Mini Flying Theatre, at this year's IAAPA Expo Europe.
The ride concepts have been showcased at previous shows, however the finalised versions are now ready for launch and will make their official debut at a press conference on 17 September.
Designed to roam freely along a pre-programmed path, the AGV Dark Ride has no tracks or power cables and can travel at "unrivalled" speeds. It is available with a range of different motion systems, seating capabilities, as well as on-board 4D effects and, when combined with a custom-designed AV solution, it creates a cutting-edge ride experience.
The Mini Flying Theatre is designed for smaller operators The Mini Flying Theatre, the first of which will soon open at the Baosun Wildlife Park in Hanoi, Vietnam, is a smaller version of the company's Flying Theatre and was developed for smaller operators with limited space.
The 20-person theatre can accomodate approximately 250 guests per hour and features an immersive, large format quarter dome screen. Riders experience the sensation of flying and other movements - such as programmable heave and tilt and forward and backward motion - fully synchronised with the movie playing on-screen. In-theatre effects such as water spray, wind, snow, bubbles, smoke and other special lighting effects complete the offering.
Simworx sales director Edward Pawley, said: "We are delighted to announce the official launch of the AGV and Mini Flying Theatre attractions. Both products are exciting additions to our ever expanding product range and provide operators with two fun and entertaining attractions which will appeal to a very wide age range."
"We are already talking to a number of potential clients for both products and look forward to officially unveiling both these attraction solutions at the IAAPA Expo Europe in Paris," Pawley added.
The IAAPA Expo Europe takes place between 16 - 19 September at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition centre.
