Digital imaging company Active Silicon has awarded 'Value Added Reseller' status to live video control solutions group SNP Productions.
The deal allows SNP to market as a Value Added Reseller and to pre-install Active Silicon's Phoenix HD and standard definition (SD) boards into their Catalyst systems for retail across the globe.
SNP has recently supplied ten of the Phoenix cards to UK lighting rental company Neg Earth, who have used some of the cards as part of an upgrade to the Catalyst systems being used on Muse's ongoing Resistance world tour.
SNP's Simon Pugsley says: "Active Silicon's Phoenix cards provide Catalyst users with a high quality solution to capture HD-SDI video/camera images live in to the catalyst system with virtually no frame delay (one frame)."
