Members can gain access to their health club with an NFC membership card, wristband, key fob or an NFC-enabled device

Are you looking for an effective way to automate access control? Does your club sell individual classes and memberships? Then Gantner’s new, multifunctional access control terminal, GAT Access 6600, is the solution you seek.
Capable of reading numerous technology types, including NFC, bar and QR codes, this all-around device can be installed on turnstiles or placed at reception. When integrated with your club’s management software, GAT Access 6600 can automate check-in and access for both classes and memberships.
Here’s how it works. Whether your customers are burning calories in spin or achieving better balance in yoga, they’ll purchase a bar or QR-code ticket through your management software. Tech-savy customers may show their ticket on their smartphone, while many will bring a print-out ticket. Either way, GAT Access 6600 can manage both!
For a club’s permanent membership base, members are given a Near-Field-Communication (NFC) credential that comes in the form of a membership card, wristband, or key fob. NFC credentials contain an embedded electronic chip that can communicate with other NFC-enabled devices.
Depending upon a club’s set-up, NFC credentials can be used with GAT Access 6600, lockers, payment, and more.
By constantly keeping in tune with the fitness industry, Gantner has yet again answered an industry demand - this time for a solution to control access for both classes and different membership types.
